カエルが帰ってきた Frog is back

何年かほど前にこの家から巣立ったと思われるカエルが帰ってきた。
そのカエルはオスだった。
カエルは二日ほどやさしくコッコッコッと鳴き、その後メスがやってきて、卵を産んだ。
最初陸上に産んでいたが、その後ビオトープに移した。
ここでカエルが定着してくれると思い、うれしかった。
卵が無事に孵ってくれるか楽しみだ。

A frog made a quick visit to my biotope. 
At night, I heard a very soft healing sound.
I quickly realized that it was a mating call by the frog.
The croaking was heard for two nights.

The next morning, a big she-frog came and together,
layed some eggs.
Unfortunatelly, my biotope was too small for them.  Most
of the eggs were out of the water, on the ground. 
I quickly moved them into the water before they dried out.

I hope they turn out to be frogs.
